President and Founder of the Christ Mission International, an Evangelical Organization which is aimed at winning souls for Christ, as well as empowering believers to identify their callings, Rev. Albert Annadie, has called on both Christian leadership and all believers, to work hard towards answering to their devine missions on earth, and also endeavor to lead lives befitting their callings.

He made this submission during a Media Interaction at the launch of his new book titled, “THE HIGH CALLING”, a book he has newly unveiled to help guide its readers on their devine journey on earth.

The occasion, which was held at the conference hall of the Methodist church at Pramaso, Asante Bekwai in the Ashanti Region during the week, brought together a large number of the Christian leadership, to deliberate on how to work effectively in accordance with their very missions here on earth to benefit mankind.

Disclosing the purpose of the book in his address, the Author, Rev. Albert Annadie, revealed that, content of the book was released to him through a revelation way back in 1998, but he needed to work out to add up some human touch and inspiration to the revelation given, so he wasn’t in a haste to publish the book till the appointed time now.

Reviewing the book before its launch, he briefed that, his book, titled “The High Calling “, is one of the unique Christian novels which comes with soul-feeding passages that would help its readers to identify their missions on earth, give clarity to a lot of Soul-Searching questions that might have pondered on the Christian’s mind for solution, as well as serve as a guide to the path of our journeys on earth in this world of confusion, where many, especially the young believers are struggling through their relationships with their Maker on daily basis.

In addition, the Author, unearthed that, the book is packed with in depth knowledge that would help raise purpose-driven future leaders with treasures to help unlock hidden skills and talents for both Chritian and national development. He said, the book covers, not only spiritual growth, but also areas of business, education and even know in nation building as well.

He on that note, called on all to endeavor to grab a copy to share in the knowledge God has given him, which to him, is for all to also benefit. He ended his message by calling for unity and love among all Ghanaians, devoid of our denominations, for national development.

Further, the consultant for the book, Mr. Clifford Kofi Awudzie, also emphasized that, the inspiration of the book, does not only serve as a guidance, but also provides encouragement for those who are navigating their journey towards God’s calling, as well as serves as a revival for many who feel called to the ministry.

Unveiling the book for the official launch, the Guest Speaker for the occasion, Rev. Thomas Karikari Boateng Asibey, also his part, emphasized that, the High Calling, as the book is titled, is not, or should not be envisaged as just a concept, but understood as a divine invitation extended to believers to come partner with GOD in fulfilling His purpose with mankind on earth. He there stressed the need for us to take it more serious that we see it, and work harder towards our missions on this earth for the day of Judgment.

He commended the Author of the book, Rev. Annadie, for availing himself to be used as a channel through which one of the best Christian truths has been released to the world, and urged all to make it a necessity to get a copy of this spirit-filled book to benefit their souls. He on that not, declared “The High Calling” as a book officially launched and ready for the market.

Finally to climax the program, Chairperson for the occasion, Mr. Azumah Ben Oscar, stressed on the rich knowledge packed in the book which would help empower and shape even the next generation on their day to day walk with God. He congratulated the author, and encouraged all to endeavor to grab a copy for their spiritual consumption.

Thousands storm Accra in ‘Y3gye Y3 Sika’ demo, give Mahama 14 days to sack Ablakwa    Thousands of supporters of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), led by the party’s youth wing, poured onto the streets of Accra on Tuesday in the ‘Y3gye Y3 Sika’ demonstration, demanding the dismissal and prosecution of the Minister for Foreign Affairs, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa. The protesters, chanting “Y3gye y3 sika” (“We want our money”), are demanding accountability over spending on the evacuation of Ghanaians from South Africa and over the issuance of diplomatic and service passports. At Jubilee House, the NPP National Youth Organiser, Commander Abanga Fusani Yakubu, presented a petition addressed to President John Dramani Mahama and gave the President 14 days to act. A sea of red and black  The march began in the early hours at Villaggio, near the Tetteh Quarshie Interchange and opposite the Accra Mall. From there the crowd, swelling as it moved, made its way to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs before heading on to Jubilee House. Dressed mostly in red and black, the demonstrators waved party flags and carried placards reading “Chobo hene Ablakwa, give us our money” and “We need accountability.” Drums, horns and party songs carried the procession through the city. The crowd was drawn from across the country. Party officials had said residents of North Tongu, Mr Ablakwa’s own constituency, and people displaced by the Akosombo Dam spillage would join the march. Youth organisers, polling station executives, TESCON members and the party’s women’s and Nasara wings had been mobilised in the days leading up to the protest. The Ghana Police Service had been notified of the demonstration and provided security along the route. The march was peaceful. Petition delivered at Jubilee House  Addressing the crowd, Commander Yakubu said the turnout showed the depth of public anger over the matter. “Behind me stand thousands of Ghanaians. Young men and women. Traders, students, workers, the unemployed,” he said. “They have marched peacefully today with one message: Y3gye y3 sika. We want our money accounted for.” He told the gathering: “We are giving President Mahama 14 days to act; else we will stage another demonstration.” The petition calls on the President to sack Mr Ablakwa immediately and to direct the Attorney-General and the Office of the Special Prosecutor to investigate and prosecute him and any official found culpable. It also demands the publication of the original invoices, contracts and proof of payment for all charter flights, the full passenger and beneficiary lists, an independent audit of the evacuation spending, and details of every diplomatic and service passport issued since January 2025. Copies of the petition were addressed to the Speaker of Parliament, the Attorney-General, the Special Prosecutor and the Dean of the Diplomatic Corps. “This is not the end. It is the beginning,” Commander Yakubu told the marchers. “We will watch. We will wait fourteen days. And if there is no answer, we will be back, peacefully and lawfully, until every cedi is accounted for.” The money and the passports  At the centre of the protest is the GH¢49.7 million the Foreign Affairs Ministry says it spent to evacuate 1,964 Ghanaians from South Africa. The Minority in Parliament has questioned more than GH¢16.4 million of that sum. The NPP says documents released by the Minister show each of the three charter flights used cost US$750,000, which it argues is far above the industry rate of no more than US$300,000 per flight. The party also says it found no invoices or contracts supporting about GH¢27 million spent on the charters, and disputes the figure of 1,964 evacuees, saying the three charter flights carried about 900 people....
