The Board of the 27th Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA) has finalized and released the official list of nominees following the closure of the errors and omissions review period. Categories include Unsung Artiste of the Year, Best African Song, Music for Good, and Group of the Year.
In a statement, the Board assured that all petitions and appeals received during the review window were thoroughly examined in line with the scheme’s established guidelines. “Following the process, the published nominees list remains unaffected,” the Board said, reaffirming its commitment to fairness, integrity, and the promotion of Ghanaian music on the global stage.
Fans and industry stakeholders have been praised for their active participation in the process, which has generated early excitement ahead of the main awards ceremony.
Adding to the anticipation, Koforidua has been named the host city for this year’s TGMA Xperience Concert, scheduled for Saturday, April 11, 2026. The concert will feature top artists including Stonebwoy, Wendy Shay, Piesie Esther, Lasmid, and Medikal, offering fans a high-energy lead-up to the main awards event.
The release of the final nominees and the announcement of the concert are expected to set the tone for a thrilling TGMA season, celebrating Ghanaian musical talent and creativity both locally and internationally.
