Twenty-five elderly and indisposed members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Hohoe Constituency have received food donations from the party’s Constituency Communication Officer, Mr Stephen Tetteh Worwui, as part of activities marking his birthday.
The beneficiaries, many of whom have played key roles in the growth and development of the party in the constituency over the years, were presented with assorted food items in recognition of their contributions and dedication.
Mr Worwui said the gesture was aimed at appreciating the sacrifices of senior party members and ensuring they were not forgotten.
He expressed gratitude to the beneficiaries for their commitment to the NDC and encouraged them to continue sharing their knowledge and experience to support the party’s progress.
The donation was warmly received by the beneficiaries, who commended Mr Worwui for remembering them and wished him success in his future endeavours.
Hohoe NDC Constituency Organizer, Mr Wodey Samuel, praised the initiative, describing it as a demonstration of care and respect for senior members of the party.
He noted that the gesture reflected the commitment of current party executives to maintaining strong ties with veteran members and supporting them in times of need.
