Ghanaian Hiplife star Rap Fada has showered immense praise on King Paluta, crediting his powerful verse on Odo Bi Ye Bad for the song’s widespread success.
Speaking on Accra 100.5 FM’s Ayekoo Ayekoo with Nana Romeo, Rap Fada expressed deep appreciation for the impact of Paluta’s contribution, emphasizing how it elevated the song and reinforced Paluta’s reputation as a versatile artist.
“My brother was already exploring singing, but this song made people truly recognize his ability,” he remarked.
Rap Fada revealed that Paluta’s standout verse, where he defiantly proclaims that no heartbreak will break him, was not originally part of the song. However, its inclusion became the defining moment that captivated listeners.
“This verse is like a diamond to me—not just for me, but for the entire world. It made many people fall in love with Paluta’s artistry.”
He went on to declare that, in his opinion, Paluta has not delivered a verse as iconic as this one on any other song.
“If I could frame the audio as a picture, I would hang it in my room or my dream home,” he said, underscoring how much he treasures the verse.
The song’s success did more than just boost their musical careers—it also gave them new opportunities. Rap Fada recalled how Odo Bi Ye Bad took them both to Amsterdam, Netherlands, an experience he described as a dream come true.
“We boarded the same plane, played the same show—it was surreal. Before this, we had struggled both personally and professionally, so to see this sudden success was nothing short of amazing.”
Rap Fada ended by reaffirming his deep appreciation for King Paluta, stating that their bond goes beyond music.
“The love is solid and forever,” he declared.
From hardship to international recognition, Odo Bi Ye Bad has cemented itself as a career-defining song for both artists, with King Paluta’s verse standing out as an unforgettable masterpiece.
