Kanye West has once again made headlines with a controversial revelation, admitting in a recent interview with DJ Akademiks that he never wanted to have children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. West, known for his candid and often provocative remarks, shared that he “didn’t want to have children with this person after the first two months” of their relationship, but added, “that wasn’t God’s plan.”
This shocking admission comes years after the couple’s highly publicized marriage, during which they built a family together, raising four children: North (11), Saint (9), Chicago (7), and Psalm (5). Despite their divorce in 2022, Kanye and Kim continue to co-parent, though the rapper has frequently expressed his frustrations over what he perceives as limited involvement in his children’s lives.
In particular, Kanye has voiced concerns over North’s increasing presence in the entertainment world, criticizing her participation in projects such as FKA Twigs’ music video for “Childlike Things.” Kim, on the other hand, has publicly supported North’s creative pursuits, highlighting a clear divide between their parenting styles.
The former couple’s co-parenting dynamics remain complicated, with Kanye alleging that Kim and the Kardashian family deliberately restrict his influence over their children. While Kim has largely remained silent on Kanye’s accusations, she continues to prioritize her children’s stability and well-being.
