A group of young women in the Oti Region has graduated from a six-week leadership development programme designed to equip them with the skills, confidence and knowledge needed to become agents of change in their communities.
The “Rise in You Leadership Training Programme”, organised by SparkLife International, focused on building the capacity of participants through practical leadership training, personal development and empowerment initiatives.
The programme forms part of the organisation’s commitment to nurturing transformational female leaders who can contribute meaningfully to sustainable development at the community and national levels.
At the graduation ceremony, the participants received certificates of completion in recognition of their successful participation in the training. They were also presented with official SparkLife International T-shirts as symbols of their commitment to leadership, service and community impact.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer of SparkLife International, Mr. Destiny Selormey, said the training covered key areas including leadership development, personal growth, effective communication, teamwork, goal setting, emotional intelligence, self-confidence, ethical leadership and community engagement.
He encouraged the graduates to believe in their abilities, develop their strengths and use their leadership skills to serve others with integrity and purpose.
Mr. Selormey explained that the programme combined mentorship sessions, practical discussions, group activities and shared experiences to help participants develop the mindset and confidence required to lead effectively.
He commended the graduates for their commitment throughout the six-week programme and urged them to apply the lessons acquired to create positive change in their various communities.
The graduates reflected on their personal growth during the training and pledged to use their newly acquired skills to impact their families, workplaces, schools and communities.
SparkLife International said empowering young women with leadership skills creates a multiplier effect that strengthens communities, promotes inclusion and supports long-term development.
The organisation noted that investing in young women was critical to building a new generation of leaders committed to social justice, gender equality and community advancement.
It said the successful completion of the programme reaffirmed its dedication to transforming lives through leadership education, empowerment and capacity building.
SparkLife International expressed optimism about expanding the initiative to reach more young women across Ghana and beyond, providing them with opportunities to unlock their potential and become effective leaders.
