Axim Girls Senior High School in the Western Region has expanded its accommodation capacity with the completion of a 400-bed dormitory, aimed at addressing pressure on existing facilities as enrolment continues to increase.
The newly constructed facility, funded by the Haven Place Foundation, has been formally handed over to the school to provide additional accommodation for students.
The project is expected to ease congestion in the school’s existing dormitories while offering students a safer and more comfortable environment for residential life and learning.
The facility was dedicated by the Founder and Executive Director of the Haven Place Foundation, Madam Eva Esselba Mends, during the handover ceremony.
The addition of the dormitory is expected to strengthen the school’s capacity to accommodate its growing student population and improve conditions for students living on campus.
School authorities are expected to benefit from the additional space as they seek to manage increasing accommodation demands and provide a more conducive environment for teaching and learning.
