As the year draws to a close and the Christmas season ushers in a moment of reflection, Mr. Kofi Anokye, Chief Executive Officer of Koans Estate, has delivered a message that blends corporate leadership, civic responsibility, and spiritual grounding a message he believes is urgently needed in today’s fast paced and often distracted world.
Speaking in an exclusive year end interview with Nii Okpoti Odamtten / Muhammad Faisal Mustapha, the real estate executive extended warm Christmas wishes to his staff, partners, and citizens, while urging the public to approach the festive season with discipline, care, and renewed focus on faith.
The real estate executive extended warm Christmas wishes to his staff, partners, and citizens, while urging the public to approach the festive season with discipline, care, and renewed focus on faith.
“Christmas is not just a holiday it is a reminder that values must guide progress,” Mr. Anokye said. “As we celebrate, we must also protect lives, respect one another, and remember why this season truly matters.”
While Christmas is traditionally marked by joy, travel, and social gatherings, Mr. Anokye was deliberate in addressing the real risks that accompany the season, particularly reckless behavior on the roads and excessive indulgence.
He appealed directly to motorists and celebrants to exercise restraint.
“No celebration is worth a life,” he emphasized. “Watch what you drink. If you drive, drive responsibly. One careless decision can undo years of hard work and shatter families forever.”
“No celebration is worth a life. Celebrate responsibly arrive alive.”
His cautionary tone reflects a broader philosophy of leadership one that sees business leaders as custodians of public well being, not just economic growth.
Leadership Rooted in Responsibility
Under Mr. Anokye’s stewardship, Koans Estate has steadily built a reputation for integrity, professionalism, and community consciousness within the real estate sector. For him, leadership extends far beyond balance sheets and construction plans.
“At Koans Estate, we believe that success is measured not only by what we build, but by how we impact lives,” he noted. “Our staff are our family, and our clients are our responsibility.”
He used the opportunity to commend his team for their dedication throughout the year, acknowledging the resilience required to navigate economic pressures while maintaining high standards.
“To every staff member of Koans Estate, I say thank you. Your commitment is the foundation upon which this company stands.”
“Success is not just what we build it is how we impact lives.”
Beyond safety and corporate leadership, Mr. Anokye’s Christmas message was unmistakably spiritual. He urged citizens to look beyond the commercialism of the season and return to its core meaning.
“In all the noise and excitement, let us not forget that Christmas is about Jesus Christ,” he said. “When Christ is our ultimate focus, our decisions become wiser, our hearts become calmer, and our society becomes stronger.”
He believes that faith regardless of one’s profession or social status remains a stabilizing force in uncertain times.
“When Christ is our ultimate focus, our choices reflect wisdom, not impulse.”
As the conversation turned to the future, Mr. Anokye expressed optimism for the year ahead, calling on Ghanaians to enter 2026 with hope, discipline, and collective responsibility.
“I see 2026 as a year of renewed purpose,” he said. “If we stay focused, support one another, and act responsibly, we can build not just better homes but a better nation.”
In his final words, the Koans Estate CEO returned to a simple but powerful appeal one that blends humanity, leadership, and faith.
“I wish all our staff, partners, and citizens a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year,” Mr. Anokye concluded. “Celebrate with joy, live with care, and let Christ lead the way.”
