Ohemaa Woyeje has paid an emotional tribute to late actress Beverly Afaglo, describing her as a strong, hardworking woman whose sudden death has left her heartbroken.
In an emotional message shared online, Ohemaa Woyeje revealed that Beverly had been more than a friend to her over the years.
“You have been a sister and a true one over the years,” she wrote.
The media personality disclosed that she had been deeply worried in recent days after Beverly stopped responding to calls and messages, prompting her to ask people around her to pray for the actress.
“Since this morning when I heard the news, I have not stopped crying,” she added.
Ohemaa Woyeje also revealed that Beverly contributed her personal experiences and voice to her upcoming book titled Life Beyond Opinions, making the loss even more painful for her.
Reflecting on Beverly’s life, she praised the late actress for her resilience and determination despite the challenges she faced.
According to her, Beverly remained committed to her acting career and entrepreneurial ventures, including her boutique and food business, while continuing to inspire others with her strength.
“You were one of the strongest people I have ever known,” she stated. “You kept pushing no matter what.”
Ohemaa Woyeje further noted how Beverly’s cheerful public appearance made the news of her death difficult to accept.
“Everything looked normal until this painful moment,” she said, adding that the tragedy serves as a reminder about the unpredictability of life.
She concluded her tribute by extending condolences to Beverly’s husband, children and family, while offering prayers for her daughters.
“Your daughters are on my mind. I pray life treats them kindly,” she wrote.
