Reality TV star Josephina “Phyna” Otabor has demanded accountability from the Dangote Group after a truck allegedly linked to the company was involved in an accident that left her sister seriously injured.
Taking to social media, the Big Brother Naija Season 7 winner accused the company of prioritising its assets over human life, claiming police were instructed to remove the truck’s plate number rather than focusing on her sister’s condition.
“What happened to seeing my sister first?” she asked, lamenting that no company official had visited the hospital, despite reports that a manager was expected to show up at the police station handling the case.
Phyna also warned against any attempts to quietly release the truck or its driver from custody, vowing to escalate the matter if necessary. “You have money, you are not God. My God is bigger. Enough is enough,” she declared.
Her outcry has reignited public conversations on corporate responsibility, road safety, and justice for accident victims in Nigeria, especially when powerful corporations are involved.
