Former Big Brother Naija winner Phyna has expressed a willingness to put past differences behind her and reconcile with Nigerian music superstar Davido, nearly two years after their social media disagreement captured public attention.
Speaking during a recent livestream, the reality TV star revealed that she is open to having a direct conversation with the singer, describing it as an opportunity to clear lingering misunderstandings and restore cordiality.
Phyna explained that while she is prepared to apologise, she also wants clarity on how the situation escalated in the first place.
“If I get the opportunity to stream with Davido, I will take it,” she said, noting that a one-on-one discussion would help both parties understand each other’s perspectives.
The dispute traces back to 2023, when Davido liked a tweet that was perceived as critical of Phyna, triggering a wave of online reactions and exchanges between fans of both celebrities. The episode quickly became a trending topic across social media platforms.
Despite the fallout, Phyna said she harbours no ill feelings and believes the issue can be resolved amicably through dialogue.
“I just want us to talk and settle everything. If we can clear the air, that will be fine,” she added.
Phyna, born Ijeoma Josephina Otabor, rose to prominence after winning Big Brother Naija Level Up in 2022, becoming the first female winner of that edition. Since then, she has remained active in Nigeria’s entertainment space as a media personality, influencer, and brand ambassador.
Her latest comments have reignited public interest in the long-running feud, with fans now watching to see whether both stars will take steps toward reconciliation.
