In a vibrant display of innovation and community spirit, Prampram has played host to Ghana’s first-ever Community Digital Fair (CDF) — a bold new initiative aimed at making technology accessible to children and youth in underserved communities.

Organized by Ghanaian events marketing firm Digitally Done, the fair transformed the Anglican Cluster of Schools into a buzzing hub of digital discovery. The event brought together students, educators, parents, tech professionals, and civic leaders in a powerful show of what community-driven digital inclusion can look like.

In a statement from Accra, Digitally Done described the event as a flagship outreach programme designed to close the digital divide by sparking hands-on engagement with technology and innovation. Through interactive exhibitions, real-time tech demos, and digital workshops, participants explored how technology can address pressing challenges in sectors like health, agriculture, education, sanitation, and commerce.

Founder of Digitally Done, Mr. Richard Adonteng Nkansah, highlighted the deeper aim of the fair: “We didn’t just come to inform — we came to ignite curiosity. The excitement on these children’s faces showed us that when knowledge is presented right, it becomes the spark for dreams.”

He emphasized that CDF is part of a larger vision to inspire underserved communities to see themselves as active participants in Ghana’s digital future.

The event received strong endorsement from local authorities. Mr. Raphael Nartey, Municipal Chief Executive for Ningo-Prampram, lauded the fair as a timely intervention.

“This is more than an event. It’s a wake-up call that in this digital age, every community must be included,” he said. “Digitally Done is not just hosting a fair — they’re planting seeds for a future-ready generation.”

From robotics demonstrations to coding tutorials and online safety sessions, attendees had the chance to experience the digital world in an approachable and practical way. Children participated in a creative tech zone, while adults took part in panel discussions on how rural Ghana can benefit from digital transformation.

The enthusiastic turnout and impact of the fair have encouraged Digitally Done to expand the initiative nationwide. Plans are underway to replicate the Community Digital Fair in other districts, building momentum toward a movement for digital literacy and inclusion across Ghana.

With its successful debut in Prampram, the Community Digital Fair has positioned itself as a transformative platform — one that blends technology, education, and empowerment in a way that truly resonates at the grassroots.
