A Business Leadership Forum aimed at equipping parents and students with practical knowledge in financial literacy, investment, and entrepreneurship has been held at the Mobole D/A Basic School in the Ningo-Prampram District.
The event, organised by the Nneka Youth Foundation in partnership with the Affluent Team of Stanbic Bank Ghana, sought to inspire community members to embrace smart financial planning and develop sustainable business ideas.
The forum featured an interactive learning session, where participants discussed ways to manage personal finances, grow small businesses, and secure investments for the future. The Stanbic Bank team highlighted the critical role of financial discipline and urged parents to prioritise investing in their children’s education as the most rewarding long-term venture.
In a gesture of commitment to youth development, the Affluent Team of Stanbic Bank Ghana presented a GHC20,000 cheque to support the Nneka Youth Foundation’s Summer Camp programme, which provides mentorship and life skills training for young people across the country.
Expressing appreciation, Madam Cecilia Fiaka, Executive Director of the Nneka Youth Foundation, commended Stanbic Bank for its partnership and continuous investment in youth empowerment initiatives.
“This collaboration reflects the power of corporate and community partnerships in transforming lives. Together, we can build financially literate and responsible future leaders,” she said.
Madam Fiaka also hinted at plans for future collaborations with financial institutions to extend financial education and leadership training to more rural and underserved communities.
The Nneka Youth Foundation continues to champion initiatives that promote education, entrepreneurship, and leadership among Ghanaian youth — staying true to its mission of transforming lives, one African child at a time.
