Ariana Grande and actor Ethan Slater have reportedly ended their relationship after nearly three years together, according to US media reports.
Sources cited by People magazine say the pair separated “quietly” and “amicably” several months ago, after taking time to reflect on their relationship. They are said to remain on good terms and continue to support each other.
“They gave lots of time and careful consideration and decided to go their separate ways,” a source told the publication.
Grande, 32, and Slater, 34, first met in 2023 while filming the two-part musical adaptation of Wicked in the United Kingdom, where they played Glinda and Boq respectively.
Their relationship became public in 2024, and the pair later appeared together at several industry events, including premieres and awards ceremonies tied to the film and its sequel Wicked: For Good.
Both stars were previously in separate marriages, which were finalised during the early period of their relationship.
Grande has recently returned to music with her Eternal Sunshine tour, her first major tour since 2019, alongside plans for a new album titled Petal. She has also been increasingly active in film, earning an Oscar nomination for her role in Wicked.
Slater, a stage and screen actor, has also gained recognition for his performance in Wicked, alongside earlier Broadway work including his Tony-nominated role in SpongeBob SquarePants: The Musical.
The former couple’s representatives have not yet publicly commented on the reported split.
