The Ministry of Tourism, Culture and Creative Arts has taken steps to broaden public participation in Ghana’s cultural development by making the revised National Cultural Policy available online at no cost.
The Ministry said the decision was aimed at ensuring that cultural practitioners, creative industry stakeholders, researchers, development partners and the general public could easily access and engage with the policy.
The announcement was contained in a statement issued to the Ghana News Agency on Wednesday.
The online publication follows the official launch of the revised National Cultural Policy on June 9, 2026, at the National Theatre in Accra.
According to the Ministry, making the document publicly accessible forms part of efforts to improve awareness, encourage stakeholder participation and support the effective implementation of the policy.
It urged stakeholders within the tourism, culture and creative arts sectors to download and study the document as the country works towards strengthening its cultural and creative industries.
The Ministry said the initiative reflected its commitment to transparency, inclusiveness and collaboration in the implementation of policies designed to contribute to national development.
“The Ministry, in the spirit of the ‘Black Star Experience’, remains committed to a transparent, inclusive and collaborative approach to building the better Ghana we want,” it said.
The Ministry expressed confidence that the active involvement of stakeholders would help drive the successful implementation of the revised policy and contribute to the growth of Ghana’s tourism, cultural and creative arts sectors.
It encouraged the public to access the document through the Ministry’s official website and participate in efforts to advance the country’s cultural and creative development agenda.
