Cabfix Ladies FC have turned to experienced coach Sarah Humble Ayimedu to lead the club into the new Greater Accra Regional Football Association (GARFA) Women’s Division One League season.
Ayimedu succeeds Coach Nani, who left the Ablekuma-based club at the end of the 2025/26 season, with the new head coach expected to bring her experience in player development and tactical preparation to the team.
The former Ridge City FC player holds CAF C and D coaching licences, alongside a Fundación LaLiga Football Coaching and Player Development Certificate and a Standard First Aid Certificate.
Her coaching background spans both youth development and competitive women’s football, having previously worked with Outstanding Soccer Academy, Zaafi Soccer Academy and Faith Ladies FC.
At Outstanding Soccer Academy and Zaafi Soccer Academy, Ayimedu was responsible for structured training programmes aimed at improving players’ technical abilities, game intelligence and readiness for higher levels of competition.
Her experience at Faith Ladies FC also included a successful run in the Women’s FA Cup, where she served as Assistant Coach when the club won the 2024/25 title.
Ayimedu has also recorded achievements at regional and developmental levels, guiding the Western Regional Football Association U-15 girls’ team to the top of its league.
She further helped Zaafi Soccer Academy finish runners-up in the Ghana Men’s Division Three League.
Her appointment therefore adds a coach with experience across youth development, academy football and competitive league management as Cabfix Ladies prepare for the demands of the upcoming GARFA Women’s Division One campaign.
