Charterhouse Productions has officially announced a new date for the 26th edition of the Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), shifting the highly anticipated music celebration to Saturday, May 10, 2025.
Originally scheduled for May 3, the event was rescheduled to ensure an enhanced experience for fans, artistes, and stakeholders. In a statement, the organisers expressed regret over any inconvenience caused by the change and urged industry players to update their calendars accordingly.
“We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to bring you an unforgettable experience,” the statement read.
In the build-up to the main awards night, Charterhouse also confirmed key pre-event activities: the TGMA Masterclass is slated for Thursday, May 8, while the official pre-party will take place on Friday, May 9.
Meanwhile, voting lines are now open for fans to support their favourite artistes by dialling *1767# and entering the artiste’s code.
The 26th TGMA, which will be hosted at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre, promises a vibrant red carpet experience, thrilling live performances, and the crowning of Ghana’s top musical talents.
The event continues to stand as a prestigious platform that recognises excellence and achievement in Ghana’s dynamic music industry.
