As Anfoega Senior High School prepares to celebrate six decades of academic excellence, attention is shifting beyond festivities to the role of collaboration in shaping the future of education.
The President of the school’s Old Students Association (ANFOSA), Michael K.T. Klutse, has called on alumni, partners, and stakeholders to use the 60th anniversary not only as a reunion but as a platform to deepen support for the institution’s growth.
The week-long celebration, scheduled from March 23 to 29, 2026, will be held under the theme: “Celebrating 60 Years: The Role of Stakeholders in Providing Quality Education for the 21st Century.” It is expected to attract a wide range of participants, including President John Dramani Mahama as Guest of Honour.
Founded in 1965, Anfoega Senior High School has built a reputation for producing professionals and leaders who contribute to national development. According to Mr. Klutse, the milestone offers a chance to reflect on the school’s legacy while mobilising renewed commitment toward its future.
He emphasised that improving education quality requires a collective effort involving government, alumni, parents, and development partners. The anniversary, he noted, will serve as a rallying point to strengthen these partnerships and address emerging educational needs.
Beyond the celebrations, activities are expected to highlight the contributions of past and present staff, honour the vision of the school’s founders, and recognise the impact of alumni support over the years.
Mr. Klutse urged all old students and well-wishers to actively participate, stressing that their involvement will be key to sustaining the school’s legacy and positioning it for continued excellence in the years ahead.
