Ghanaian fashion house Odefille is set to redefine the runway experience at this year’s Accra Fashion Week with an exclusive VIP stand designed to blend fashion, music, and cultural expression into a fully immersive showcase.
In a statement issued in Accra, Madam Nadia Asantewaa Nkandobi, Co-Creative Director of Odefille, said the brand’s philosophy goes beyond clothing, describing fashion as an experience that engages all the senses rather than just a visual display.
She explained that this approach informs Odefille’s runway presentations, which consistently go beyond traditional catwalk shows by incorporating creative elements that leave lasting impressions on audiences. This year’s showcase will take place on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at the Silver Star Towers, Airport City, beginning at 5:00 pm.
A key feature of the Odefille presentation is the integration of live music by local artists to complement the fashion on display. The brand has previously collaborated with celebrated musicians including Della Hayes, Paulina Oduro, and Atongo Zimba, who performed live during past runway shows.
Continuing this tradition, the statement announced that renowned musician Aka Blay will provide live musical accompaniment at this year’s event, offering a fresh performance intended to enhance the mood and rhythm of the collection being presented.
The VIP stand will offer premium seating and exclusive access to a curated audience of industry professionals, fashion enthusiasts, celebrities, influencers, loyal customers, and brand partners. According to Odefille, the setting is designed to ensure that guests can fully engage with and appreciate every detail of the latest collection.
Beyond the runway, guests at the VIP stand will have the opportunity to interact directly with designers and models, discuss the inspiration behind the collection, and view footage from previous Odefille runway shows. This, the brand noted, is intended to create a more personal and meaningful connection between the fashion house and its audience.
Odefille said the concept reflects its commitment to celebrating individuality, local culture, and a shared love for fashion, while offering guests a distinctive and memorable Accra Fashion Week experience.
