The Ghana Police Service has stepped up efforts to locate a 56-year-old man who has been missing for over a year, urging the public to assist with any information that could help trace his whereabouts.
According to the Asokwa Divisional Police Command, Dominic Badu was last seen on April 18, 2025, after leaving his residence at Atonsu Bokuro. He was reportedly on his way to Amakom, near the Amankwatia Basic School, for work but has not been heard from since.
Despite extensive search efforts by both family members and law enforcement, no leads have been established, deepening concern over his safety.
Police describe Mr Badu as tall, slim, and dark in complexion, with a height of about six feet. They also noted that he has a speech impairment, which could make communication difficult and heightens the urgency of locating him.
Authorities are appealing to residents, particularly within the Kumasi metropolis and surrounding areas, to remain vigilant and report any information that could assist in the search.
Members of the public who may have seen him or have relevant details are encouraged to contact the police through the Public Affairs Unit or report directly to the nearest station.
The police emphasise that even the smallest piece of information could prove crucial in reuniting Mr Badu with his family.
