The Ghana Police Service has intensified efforts to apprehend a suspect linked to the disappearance of a 27-year-old man, with investigations now extending beyond Ghana’s borders.
The Accra Regional Police Command has declared Wisdom Tetteh wanted in connection with the case involving Theophilus Ashitey Amarh, who has been missing under circumstances police describe as suspicious.
According to police, intelligence suggests the suspect may have fled to neighbouring Togo, prompting collaboration with international law enforcement agencies, including INTERPOL, to facilitate his arrest.
Investigations indicate that the missing man was last seen at the suspect’s residence at Saasabi in Oyibi after pursuing a potential buyer for his Hyundai Elantra vehicle.
However, the case took a serious turn when investigators discovered suspected bloodstains at the residence, raising concerns of possible foul play.
Police say efforts are underway to track the suspect and unravel the full circumstances surrounding the disappearance.
Authorities are appealing to the public for assistance, urging anyone with relevant information to report to the nearest police station or use official emergency channels.
The Police Command has assured that all necessary measures are being deployed to ensure the suspect is apprehended and justice is served.
