Scheduled for March 12-13, 2025, the forum—co-hosted by the Government of Barbados and Sustainable Energy for All (SEforALL)—will bring together world leaders, policymakers, and industry experts to accelerate progress toward Sustainable Development Goal 7 (SDG7): ensuring universal access to affordable, reliable, and sustainable energy by 2030.
Mrs. Bawumia, Founder and Chair of the Africa Women and Children Conference (AFRIWOCC), is expected to emphasize the critical role of clean cooking solutions in the global energy transition. Her address will highlight the integration of mini-grids and clean cooking technologies as key to reducing dependence on traditional fuels while advancing gender equity, health, and environmental sustainability.
