President John Dramani Mahama will embark on the next phase of his nationwide “Thank You Tour” with a visit to the Bono East, Bono, and Ahafo Regions from Thursday, May 29 to Saturday, May 31, 2025.
Beyond expressing gratitude for the overwhelming support received during the 2024 general election, the former president is expected to use the tour to outline a series of priority development projects aimed at boosting economic opportunities and improving livelihoods in these regions.
According to a statement from the Presidency, Mahama will address durbars of Chiefs and People at Kintampo (Bono East) on May 29, Sunyani (Bono Region) on May 30, and Goaso (Ahafo Region) on May 31. Each event will serve as a platform for unveiling tailored initiatives aligned with regional needs.
The tour also serves as a channel for Mahama to directly engage citizens, listen to their concerns, and reaffirm his commitment to inclusive national development.
So far, the “Thank You Tour” has taken the NDC leader to several parts of the country, including the Volta, Western, Central, Upper East, Upper West, Northern, and Greater Accra Regions.
