The Ghana Education Service (GES) has instructed staff affected by the recent revocation of appointments and recruitments to undergo a mandatory validation process by March 14, 2025, to confirm their employment status.
The directive, outlined in a letter dated March 5, 2025, is part of a broader effort to streamline the GES payroll and maintain an accurate database of recruited staff. This follows an earlier communication on February 17, which announced the revocation of certain appointments.
To facilitate the process, a three-member committee—comprising the Regional Human Resource Officer, Regional Internal Auditor, and Regional Accountant—has been tasked with overseeing the validation exercise.
Affected staff must present the following documents for verification:
- Appointment Letter
- Academic Certificate
- Licensure Certificate
- National Service Certificate
GES Acting Director-General, Prof. Ernest Kofi Davis, emphasized the importance of compliance, urging all affected personnel to participate fully in the exercise to ensure the integrity of the payroll system.
