Ghanaian musician and founder of Fire Word Ministries, Evangelist Michael Antwi, popularly known as “Condemned,” has highlighted the importance of consent and personal boundaries in marital relationships.
Speaking on Asetsena Pa with host Akosua Mansa, he emphasised that intimacy between married couples should be guided by mutual understanding, communication, and respect for individual preferences.
“When I want to be intimate with my wife, I take time to connect with her. Everyone has their own preferences, so you cannot force anyone to do what they are not comfortable with,” Evangelist Antwi stated.
He cautioned against generalising sexual practices, noting that what works for one couple may not suit another. While he acknowledged that some practices, including oral sex, are acceptable within marriage, he stressed that couples must exercise caution due to potential health risks.
“These days there are many illnesses, so one must be cautious,” he said, adding that his own marriage respects personal boundaries, with both partners expressing intimacy in ways that suit them.
The musician’s comments underline the broader message that open communication, consent, and respect for personal limits remain key to healthy marital relationships.
