Kings and Queens Cottage, a youth-led organisation in Agortorme, successfully hosted the sixth edition of its annual “Arise with Christ” Easter Health Walk, attracting thousands of residents, elderly participants, and members of the diaspora.
The event, aimed at promoting physical fitness and fostering community unity, was spearheaded by Freedom Etsey Lavoe, also known as Zigato, Founder and CEO of the organisation. He highlighted that the initiative goes beyond exercise, emphasizing youth engagement and social cohesion during festive periods.
Participants praised the organisers for the well-coordinated event, noting its growing significance each year. The Health Walk has become a cornerstone of Agortorme’s social and wellness calendar, reinforcing healthy lifestyles, community bonding, and youth participation.
Organisers expressed optimism that future editions would expand further, incorporating additional activities to increase engagement and broaden the event’s impact across the community.
