Emerging Ghanaian musician Kakraba de Black Diamond has entered the country’s music scene with the release of her debut single, Kebashor, an inspirational track that encourages hard work, prudent saving, and enjoying the fruits of one’s labour.
The song, officially released today on major streaming platforms, delivers a thought-provoking message about the importance of balancing financial discipline with living a fulfilling life.
Speaking in an interview after the release, the artiste said Kebashor was inspired by the reality that many people dedicate their lives to working and accumulating wealth but never get the opportunity to enjoy it.
“Some people work hard but hardly spend the money they earn, and in the end, they die for someone else to enjoy it,” she explained.
According to Kakraba de Black Diamond, the song is intended to motivate listeners to pursue their goals through dedication while also reminding them to appreciate the rewards of their efforts.
“The lyrics say it all. We made this song to motivate people because anything you want in this world, you have to work, save and then spend your money on what you want,” she said.
The singer expressed gratitude to God for the successful release of her first official project, describing the occasion as a major milestone in her music career.
“I feel good and I give God all the praise,” she stated, adding that although the recording process came with a few challenges, faith and perseverance helped her complete the project.
Kakraba de Black Diamond also announced that an official music video for Kebashor will be released soon and revealed plans to continue recording more songs after a short break.
She appealed to music lovers to stream the new single and support her as she embarks on her musical journey.
“I want everyone to go and stream the song and expect more from Kakraba de Black Diamond,” she said.
With Kebashor, the budding artiste hopes to carve a niche for herself in Ghana’s competitive music industry by producing songs that entertain while inspiring positive values.
