The Wenchi Traditional Council in the Bono Region has taken disciplinary action against the Twafohene of the traditional area, Nana Akora Tua Adutwum Kyeremeh Siasaa Kufour IV, over alleged breaches of traditional authority.
The Council has suspended the sub-chief indefinitely and overturned the Twafo stool to allow for investigations into the allegations levelled against him.
The decision was announced by the President of the Wenchi Traditional Council and Paramount Chief of the Wenchi Traditional Area, Osagyefo Ampem Anye Amoampong Tabrako III, during a council meeting in Wenchi.

The Council warned that Nana Kufour IV could face additional sanctions if he fails to comply with the directives.
The suspension is expected to remain in force indefinitely as the Traditional Council conducts its investigations into the alleged breaches.
The Council has not disclosed further details about the specific land-related allegations or indicated when the investigations are expected to be completed.
