Harold Norman, who is facing domestic abuse allegations involving his wife, Rosemond Akua Adobea, popularly known as Nana Akua, could not appear before court on Wednesday, October 7, 2026, after being admitted to hospital.
Mr Norman was scheduled to be put before the court by the Criminal Investigations Department (CID) of the Ghana Police Service.
However, his planned appearance was deferred after his lawyer informed the Police that he had been admitted to hospital and was therefore unable to attend court.
The CID had expected Mr Norman to appear before the court on Wednesday as part of proceedings arising from the domestic abuse allegations involving his wife.
The Police have not disclosed details of his medical condition or indicated when he is expected to appear before the court.
The development means his scheduled court appearance could not proceed as planned.
