Ghana’s Black Stars have made a slight but notable improvement in the latest FIFA world rankings, climbing from 77th to 76th position.
This marks their first upward movement since July 2024, when they jumped from 64th to 60th before experiencing a gradual decline.
The modest rise comes on the back of their positive performances in the March 2025 World Cup qualifying matches, which appear to have boosted the team’s global standing.
While the climb is just one spot, it offers a glimmer of momentum for the national team as they continue to rebuild and aim for stronger results in upcoming fixtures.
The Ghana Football Association and supporters alike will be hoping this marks the beginning of a more consistent upward trend as the Black Stars push toward qualification and renewed prominence on the world stage.
