Ghanaian winger Christopher Bonsu Baah has capped off an impressive first season in Saudi Arabia by being named Al Qadsiah’s Staff Player of the Year.
The 20-year-old, who joined from Belgian side Genk during the summer transfer window, quickly established himself as a key figure in the squad with a string of standout performances in the Saudi Pro League.
He featured in 32 league matches, directly contributing to 15 goals—scoring three times and providing 12 assists—as he played a central role in Al Qadsiah’s attacking output.
His consistency over the campaign also earned him the club’s Player of the Month award for April, further highlighting his rapid adaptation to the Saudi top flight.
Beyond the league, Bonsu Baah also featured in the Saudi King’s Cup and the Super Cup, making four appearances and registering one assist in cup competitions.
Despite managerial changes during the season, including the arrival of Brendan Rodgers, Al Qadsiah managed a strong finish, placing fourth in the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League standings.
Bonsu Baah’s recognition as Staff Player of the Year underscores his growing reputation and impact in his debut season abroad.
