CIPA Holdings, an international investment facilitation platform, is positioning itself at the centre of Ghana’s renewable energy transformation by helping to mobilise and structure global capital into climate-resilient infrastructure projects.
The company says it is strengthening its role as a trusted intermediary that connects international investors with viable renewable energy opportunities in Ghana, as the country intensifies efforts to transition towards a low-carbon economy.
According to a statement issued in Accra, the growing recognition of the firm’s work was recently reinforced when its Founder received an award at the Ghana Entrepreneurs & Corporate Executives Awards 2026, held on 25th April, highlighting confidence in its leadership within the energy and investment space.
CIPA Holdings noted that while capital exists globally, the key challenge in Ghana’s energy transition is not availability but structuring investments into bankable and scalable projects that attract long-term funding.
The company explained that it is addressing this gap by developing financing frameworks that combine international and domestic capital, enabling investors to participate in renewable energy development in a structured and commercially viable way.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Kwaku Osei-Sarpong, said the energy transition is driven not only by funding but also by trust and investment confidence.
He stressed that the company’s focus is on creating platforms that allow capital to flow into infrastructure projects that are both financially sustainable and impactful.
A key part of its strategy, he noted, is the aggregation of renewable energy assets into portfolio-based investment structures rather than isolated projects. This approach, he said, helps reduce fragmentation, improves risk management, and enhances investment efficiency.
The model is also designed to meet the expectations of institutional investors such as pension funds, sovereign wealth funds, and development finance institutions, which typically require scale, stability, and strong governance structures.
Chief Financial Officer, Bright Yamoah, added that investors are increasingly seeking opportunities that combine financial returns with measurable environmental and social impact.
He noted that CIPA Holdings structures investments to ensure transparency, disciplined risk management, and long-term value creation for stakeholders.
The company further indicated that it is deepening collaboration with local financial institutions to expand domestic participation in Ghana’s renewable energy sector.
CIPA Holdings says its long-term goal is to help build a more integrated investment ecosystem that accelerates Ghana’s transition to sustainable energy while attracting global capital at scale.
