Former adult film actress Elizabeth Ajibola has stirred controversy after claiming that she advised Nigerian TikTok star Elizabeth Amadou, popularly known as Jarvis, not to marry fellow content creator Habeeb Hamzat, known as Peller, before their wedding.
Speaking after the couple officially got married, Ajibola said she had privately expressed concerns about the relationship approximately a month before the wedding ceremonies took place.
“So a month ago, I told Jarvis, I said, ‘Your leg is not good for Peller. You two are not a match,’” she said.
Ajibola claimed she believed the union could have negative consequences for Peller, suggesting that the effects would become evident over time.
“It is easy to join two things together, but very soon a lot of things will start manifesting into the life and reality of that boy. It’s not okay for a water pikin, a marine boy to go and marry from a snake community,” she stated.
She further alleged that any future challenges would affect Peller more than Jarvis.
“Very soon everything will not be okay with you. Especially with Peller. Not with you but with Peller. Your leg is very bad,” she said.
Ajibola also urged people to seek spiritual guidance before entering marriage, arguing that couples should pray and seek direction before choosing a life partner.
“What is going on in this world? You cannot pray before you marry somebody? Go and pray, ‘Is this person okay for me? Is her leg going to be okay for me?’ I talk my own o,” she added.
Her remarks come shortly after Peller and Jarvis celebrated their marriage in Lagos, where they completed a civil wedding on July 29 and later held their traditional and white wedding ceremonies on August 1 under the hashtag #JP2026.
The wedding attracted widespread attention on social media and drew several celebrities, fellow content creators and family members.
The celebrations also generated headlines after the couple reportedly received expensive gifts, including a mansion in Abuja valued at about ₦400 million from businessman King Ochacho and a ₦10 million wedding pledge from nightlife promoter Cubana Chief Priest.
