The Ghanaian automotive market has received a boost with the introduction of two new Renault models—the Grand Koleos and the Kardian—following their official launch by Premium Auto Limited in Accra.
The launch expands Renault’s vehicle lineup in the country as the company seeks to strengthen its presence and offer a wider range of mobility options tailored to different customer segments.
Chief Executive Officer of Premium Auto Limited, Jihad Hijazi, said the new models reflect the brand’s focus on innovation, quality, and customer-driven solutions in the evolving automotive space.
He explained that the Renault Grand Koleos is positioned as a premium SUV designed for customers seeking luxury, advanced technology, spacious interiors, and enhanced comfort.
The Renault Kardian, he noted, targets young professionals and first-time car buyers, offering a blend of affordability, fuel efficiency, smart features, and modern safety systems.
Mr Hijazi said the introduction of the vehicles demonstrates Renault’s commitment to delivering globally competitive automobiles that combine performance, safety, and cutting-edge technology.
He also highlighted the importance of partnerships with local distributors, commending Premier Motors for its role in strengthening customer service delivery, technical support, and after-sales operations in Ghana.
Group Business Development Director of Premier Auto, Fadi Fattal, said the new models align with Renault’s broader strategy of innovation and customer satisfaction.
He described the Grand Koleos as a flagship hybrid SUV designed for executives, entrepreneurs, and families, while the Kardian offers a practical and efficient driving option with modern technology and safety features at a competitive price point.
He further assured customers of improved after-sales services, including the availability of genuine spare parts, professional servicing, and reliable technical support.
Head of Customer Service at Premium Autos Ltd, Baiden Thine Fletcher, also emphasised the company’s strengthened service systems, noting that vehicle ownership involves long-term support beyond the point of purchase.
He said trained technicians and improved maintenance structures have been put in place to ensure faster servicing, warranty support, and dependable customer care for Renault owners in Ghana.
The launch signals Renault’s continued push to capture a larger share of Ghana’s growing automotive market through innovation and enhanced customer experience.
