The Adenta Circuit Court has granted bail to Salomey Awiti Baffoe, who is facing allegations of being an accomplice to controversial Ghanaian TikToker, Ghana Jollof.
The court granted the 40-year-old mother of three bail in the sum of GH¢100,000, with two sureties who must be civil servants earning not less than GH¢3,000 a month.
Salomey Awiti Baffoe was represented by the Member of Parliament for Manhyia South, Nana Agyei Baffour Awuah, who welcomed the court’s decision.
Her bail follows a case that has attracted public attention, particularly over the circumstances surrounding her arrest and detention.
She was arrested on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at her residence at Hansua, near Techiman in the Bono East Region.
Reports indicate that three persons who identified themselves as National Security operatives arrived at her home at about 11:30 p.m. and took her away.
The circumstances surrounding the operation subsequently raised concerns among her family, who reportedly struggled to establish her whereabouts after she was taken from the residence.
The matter also generated questions after the Bono East Regional Police Command and Regional National Security officials were reportedly said to have no record of the operation at the time.
Despite the controversy surrounding her arrest, Salomey Awiti Baffoe is now before the Adenta Circuit Court in connection with allegations that she assisted Ghana Jollof.
The latest court decision means she will be able to defend herself while on bail, subject to the conditions imposed by the court.
The case is expected to continue as the prosecution pursues the allegations against her.
