Renowned music producer and sound engineer, Two Bars, has responded to social media trolls labeling him as Kofi Kinaata’s driver and bodyguard, saying he remains unfazed by such comments.
Speaking in an interview with Amansan Krakye on Property FM, Two Bars, whose real name is Godfred Owusu Boateng, explained that his role as Kinaata’s road manager naturally involves responsibilities like transportation and logistics.
“I live with Kofi Kinaata, and as his road manager, it makes sense for me to drive when he has to perform. Do people expect him to drive himself, perform, and then drive back?” he questioned.
Beyond his road manager duties, Two Bars is also Kinaata’s official music producer and a voice-over artist. He emphasized that every role he plays is part of his professional career, for which he is compensated.
“Everything I do is a job that I’m paid for, whether it’s producing music or managing logistics. I don’t focus on what people say. I see the comments, but I take them as jokes,” he added.
Despite the online chatter, Two Bars remains committed to his work, balancing multiple roles in the music industry while ensuring Kinaata’s performances run smoothly.
