A two-term Constituency Secretary of the New Patriotic Party in Navrongo Central, Moses Abangba Amoah, has declared his intention to contest for the position of Constituency Chairman as the party prepares for its internal restructuring.
Mr Amoah said his decision follows extensive consultations and reflects his readiness to transition from a supporting role to leading the Constituency Executive Committee. He emphasised that his long-standing involvement in the party—from polling station secretary to assembly member and communications team member—has equipped him with the experience needed to guide the constituency forward.
Central to his campaign is the goal of reclaiming the Navrongo Central parliamentary seat in 2028. He described the current moment as critical, calling for strong leadership capable of uniting the party and mobilising its grassroots base.
Outlining his vision, Mr Amoah pledged to prioritise resource mobilisation, strengthen grassroots engagement, and foster unity through dialogue and collaboration. He stressed the need to overcome internal divisions and build a more cohesive and resilient party structure.
As he transitions into full campaign mode, Mr Amoah is set to embark on a constituency-wide tour to engage delegates and party members, seeking their support ahead of the internal elections. His candidacy is expected to play a significant role in shaping the party’s direction in Navrongo Central ahead of the next general elections.
