The Association of Ghana Industries (AGI) is set to convene industry leaders, policymakers, and energy experts on Thursday, May 22, at the Accra International Conference Centre for a landmark conference and business-to-business (B2B) exhibition focused on renewable energy and energy efficiency.
Organized by AGI’s Energy Service Centre (ESC), the event aims to tackle rising operational costs by promoting affordable and sustainable energy solutions that enhance productivity, attract investment, and ultimately strengthen Ghana’s industrial sector and economic growth.
With the theme, “Powering Ghana’s Industry through Sustainable Energy,” the conference will highlight innovative technologies, financing models, and practical strategies to help businesses cut energy expenses and improve operational efficiency. It will also include a special forum addressing private sector upskilling and emerging investment opportunities in green energy.
The conference is expected to attract a diverse group of participants—from commercial enterprises and energy professionals to government officials and private individuals passionate about sustainability. Notable dignitaries such as the Minister of State for Climate Change and Sustainability, Mr. Issifu Seidu, and the Swiss Ambassador to Ghana, Madam Simone Giger, will grace the event.
AGI CEO Seth Twum-Akwaboah emphasized that the B2B Expo responds to the increasing demand for cleaner energy in Ghana’s industrial landscape and offers a unique platform for businesses to forge strategic partnerships and access cutting-edge solutions from developers, consultants, and financiers.
By championing the energy transition and cleaner technologies, AGI is positioning Ghana’s industries to become more competitive locally and globally, while contributing to a greener, more sustainable future.
