All Nations University has received a boost in teaching resources and student opportunities following its active participation in the National Banking and Ethics Challenge (NBEC), hosted in Accra by the Chartered Institute of Bankers (CIB), Ghana.
Although the university did not win the competition, it was recognised for its enthusiasm and commitment, receiving a cash prize and donated textbooks on Law Relating to Banking and Principles and Practices of Management (Volumes 1 and 2). The materials were formally presented on campus in Koforidua, with Professor Samuel H. Donkor, President of All Nations University, accepting them on behalf of the institution.
Dr. Kenneth Amoah Binfoh, Vice Dean of the School of Business, highlighted that participation in competitions like NBEC allows students to identify strengths, address weaknesses, and develop innovative thinking beyond classroom instruction.
Mr. Lawrence Bassey Ekpo, Lecturer in Banking and Finance and coach for the university’s team, noted that the textbooks would strengthen teaching and learning, equipping students with practical knowledge to thrive in Ghana’s financial sector. He also praised CIB Ghana for creating internship pathways for participants, linking academic engagement with real-world experience.
The 2026 edition of NBEC, the second since its launch, continues to serve as a platform for developing business and banking skills among university students while promoting ethical standards in the sector.
