Community security efforts in the Atebubu Traditional Area have received a boost following the donation of a brand-new motorcycle to the Atebubu Community Watch Group.
The support, provided by Sanja Nanja, Member of Parliament for Atebubu/Amantin in the Bono East Region, is aimed at enhancing patrol operations and strengthening local security presence.
The Community Watch Group was established by the Atebubu Traditional Council to complement the work of the police in maintaining law and order.
At a brief presentation ceremony, the Paramount Chief of the Atebubu Traditional Area, Ohempon Dr Yeboah Asiamah, expressed appreciation for the gesture. He noted that the committee was instituted to augment police efforts and ensure sustained peace in the area.
He assured that the motorcycle would be used strictly for its intended purpose and maintained properly to support effective patrol activities.
