Former Minister of Sanitation, Cecilia Abena Dapaah, has taken the witness stand at the Accra High Court, providing key testimony in the ongoing trial of her former domestic workers accused of stealing large sums of money and valuables from her residence.
Appearing in court on Tuesday, March 11, 2025, Dapaah served as the third prosecution witness, marking her first in-person testimony since the trial began.
She recounted how her domestic staff allegedly stole jewelry worth $53,000, alongside substantial sums of cash.
According to Dapaah, the stolen valuables—accumulated over three decades—held both financial and sentimental value. Her husband, Daniel Osei Kuffuor, was also present in court as proceedings
