The Accra High Court has reduced the bail conditions for Kwabena Adu-Boahene, former Director-General of the National Signals Bureau (NSB), from GHS120 million to GHS80 million.
His wife, Angela Adjei Boateng, remains on GHS80 million bail, with two sureties required to be justified. The couple must report to EOCO three times a week and seek permission before traveling.
Adu-Boahene, who led the NSB from 2017 to February 2025, faces allegations of fraud and embezzlement. His lawyer, Samuel Atta Akyea, expressed confidence in meeting the revised bail terms.
