Afrobeats superstar Davido has described his recent wedding to longtime partner Chioma Rowland as nothing short of a fairytale, calling it the “best day” of their lives.
In a heartfelt reflection shared after the ceremony, the singer said the occasion went beyond glamour and expense — it was about love, unity, and celebration.
“We had an amazing wedding. Perfect, in fact! Me and my wife’s body still dey sweet us like this. Nothing anyone can say will change the fact that we had a fairytale wedding. The whole world celebrated us,” Davido said.
The Miami event, held earlier this August, was attended by family, friends, and some of the biggest names in music and entertainment. It was preceded by a series of colourful gatherings, including the now-viral Havana Night party.
Although the 30BG boss later revealed the wedding cost a staggering $3.7 million (over ₦5.5 billion), he emphasised that the memories and emotions from the day were priceless.
For fans, the ceremony was not just a union between Davido and Chioma, but also a cultural spectacle that showcased Nigerian luxury, music, and love on a global stage.
