e-Crime Bureau, one of Ghana’s foremost cybersecurity and digital forensics firms, has taken a major step in its transformation agenda with the appointment of Mr. Emmanuel Agyei as its new Consulting Chief Executive. The appointment marks a significant milestone in the firm’s ongoing Transition and Growth Strategy, which aims to strengthen its market leadership and extend its footprint across Africa.

According to a statement issued by the Bureau, the appointment of Mr. Agyei aligns with its strategic vision to expand domestic operations, enhance consulting excellence, and deliver innovative, technology-driven solutions to clients. The move also reflects the Bureau’s ambition to position itself as a Pan-African powerhouse in cybersecurity consulting, digital transformation, and business resilience.

Mr. Agyei brings to the role over 20 years of experience in managing large-scale commercial and consulting projects across North America and sub-Saharan Africa, with a track record of delivering impactful business outcomes in diverse sectors.

As Consulting Chief Executive, he will oversee the Bureau’s consulting operations, with a mandate to drive innovation, client success, and sustainable growth across service lines, including cybersecurity, digital forensics, financial crime investigations, and legal technology support.

Expressing his excitement about the new role, Mr. Agyei described the appointment as both an honour and a challenge that comes at a pivotal time in the Bureau’s evolution.

“I am honoured to take on this role at such a defining moment in the Bureau’s growth journey,” he said. “e-Crime Bureau is uniquely positioned to lead Ghana and Africa’s cybersecurity and consulting landscape through innovation, partnerships, and measurable client impact.”

“I look forward to working with the team to build on our strong foundation and deliver transformative results for our clients and stakeholders,” he added.

The Bureau noted that its Transition and Growth Strategy represents a renewed commitment to excellence, with a focus on redefining its mission to become the preferred provider of cybersecurity consulting and next-generation technology solutions that yield measurable results for clients in Ghana and beyond.

Founded in 2011, e-Crime Bureau has established itself as a Tier-1 cybersecurity firm offering end-to-end services in cybersecurity consulting, digital forensics, financial crime investigations, legal support, technology solutions, and capacity building.

With the appointment of Mr. Agyei, the Bureau is signaling a new era of expansion and leadership — one that seeks to combine world-class expertise with local insight to tackle the growing cybersecurity threats facing Africa’s digital economy.
