Long before Serwaa Amihere became a celebrated name in Ghanaian media, a prophetic word spoken to her mother, Mrs. Lydia Tetteh, quietly foretold the young woman’s future success. At church, a pastor frequently declared that Mrs. Tetteh’s children were destined for greatness and international travels—a prophecy she embraced with faith, though never fully expecting it to come true on such a grand scale.
Today, Serwaa Amihere’s rise from humble beginnings to becoming one of Ghana’s most influential media personalities stands as a testament to perseverance, talent, and purpose. What started as a hopeful prophecy has blossomed into a remarkable reality shaped by years of dedication.
Serwaa’s media career began behind the scenes as a producer on GHOne TV’s “State of Affairs,” before she stepped into the spotlight as a poised news anchor and show host. Her composed presence and articulate delivery quickly won the hearts of viewers nationwide, solidifying her status as a trusted voice in journalism.
Beyond the newsroom, Serwaa is academically accomplished, holding a Second-Class Upper degree in Law from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA) earned in 2023. She also studied Banking and Finance at Methodist University College and is proud alumna of Yaa Asantewaa Girls’ Senior High School.
Serwaa Amihere’s story is more than just media success—it is a powerful narrative of faith fulfilled, ambition realized, and a bright future that continues to unfold.
