It was more than just an environmental campaign—it became a powerful motivational moment as the CEO of the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), Professor Nana Ama Klutse shared her personal story with students at Wovenu Senior High School in the Ketu North Municipality of the Volta Region.
Born in a remote village “not even by the roadside,” she captivated her audience with tales of perseverance, education, and discipline.
“Success isn’t about where you come from—it’s about what you choose to do with your time,” she said. Her message: focus on your studies, obey your parents and teachers, and seize every opportunity to grow.
In a stirring speech, she encouraged female students especially not to let their backgrounds limit them. “This is not the time for boyfriends or babies,” she stressed. “This is the time to learn.”
Her visit, organized in partnership with Hon. Eric Edem Agbana, aimed to blend environmental education with leadership development. The event proved that mentorship and motivation can go hand in hand with civic responsibility.
