The much-anticipated squad list for Ghana’s upcoming FIFA World Cup qualifiers will be announced today, as the Black Stars prepare to face Chad and Madagascar in pivotal matches this month.
With Ghana currently sitting second in the qualification standings, the team is eager to bounce back from a disappointing Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) campaign and strengthen their chances of securing a spot in the World Cup.
A statement released on the official Black Stars social media pages confirmed that the squad announcement is imminent. However, it remains unclear whether the selection will be accompanied by a press briefing from head coach Otto Addo, as has been customary in the past.
The pressure is mounting on Addo, who is expected to make key tactical decisions and deliver results after a lackluster return to the national team. The upcoming matches will serve as a crucial test for his leadership and the team’s ability to recover from recent setbacks.
All eyes will be on the squad announcement as fans eagerly await the names of players who will represent Ghana in these vital qualifiers.
