Ghanaian youngster Prince Amoako Jnr is rapidly establishing himself as one of the most exciting emerging talents in Europe after topping the dribbling charts in the Danish Superliga during his first full senior season.
The 19-year-old, who recently earned his maiden call-up to the Black Stars ahead of the upcoming international friendly against Mexico, has completed 65 successful dribbles after 30 league matches—more than any other player in the Danish top flight this season.
He leads FC Midtjylland’s Dario Osorio (61 dribbles) and Randers FC’s Elies Mahmoud (59), while Aral Simsir (52), Gift Links (51), and Sami Jalal (51) complete the leading group of the league’s most effective dribblers.
Amoako Jnr’s standout performances have not only boosted his profile in Denmark but have also reportedly attracted attention from European giants, including Paris Saint-Germain and Manchester United, as his reputation continues to grow.
The teenager attributes his style to his early football upbringing in Ghana and his development pathway through the Right to Dream Academy, where he honed his technical ability and confidence on the ball.
“I started playing football on the street… that’s where you learn to dribble and challenge,” he said, reflecting on his early years. “Then I joined a local team and later Right to Dream when I was 10.”
Known for his flair and direct attacking style, Amoako Jnr has combined creativity with end product this season, registering eight goals and five assists in 30 appearances.
His rise is being closely watched as one of Ghana’s most promising exports in European football, with expectations growing ahead of his potential senior debut for the national team.
