Seth Ameyaw Danquah, a Stringer with the Ghana News Agency, has utilized the Universal Tourism Exhibition (UTE) 2025 in Guangzhou, China, as a platform to promote Ghana’s growing tourism sector, showcasing the country’s stunning natural landscapes, cultural diversity, and peaceful environment.
Speaking to an international audience, Danquah spotlighted Ghana’s diverse attractions, including its breathtaking coastlines, scenic hills, and vibrant cultural festivals. He emphasized the country’s peaceful environment and strong security, which he believes make it an ideal destination for both tourists and foreign investors looking to explore opportunities within Ghana’s hospitality and tourism industry.
“Ghana is a country of natural beauty, rich culture, and welcoming people,” he said, inviting investors to tap into the untapped potential of the tourism sector, which offers numerous opportunities for development.
Despite the promising outlook, Danquah did not shy away from acknowledging challenges facing the industry. He mentioned the need for infrastructure improvements, particularly in roads and the refurbishment of some heritage sites, to better cater to growing tourism demands.
Encouraging potential tourists to visit, he urged them to experience Ghana’s unique heritage and historical landmarks, which remain at the heart of its tourism appeal. Danquah’s call aims to generate international interest and support for a more robust tourism future in Ghana.
