The Ministry of Health has dismissed reports that Ms. Anne Sansa Daly was sworn in as a board member of the National Health Insurance Authority (NHIA), calling such claims inaccurate.
In a statement signed by spokesperson Tony Goodman, the Ministry clarified that while Ms. Daly was initially appointed on May 19, 2025, her appointment was revoked just four days later on May 23, before the official swearing-in on May 27.
The Ministry stressed that Ms. Daly was not present nor sworn in during the ceremony and urged the media to verify such sensitive information through official channels.
The clarification, prompted by a report from Graphic Online, is aimed at curbing misinformation and reaffirming the Ministry’s commitment to transparent and lawful appointment processes.
